A production space built for filmmakers

Studio 146 is a Karachi-based film studio and production-equipment rental business supporting advertising, narrative films, music videos, branded content and other production work. We bring stage space, cinema camera systems, lenses, lighting, grip and technical production support together so producers and filmmakers can plan practical, project-specific packages.

Three production floors in Karachi

Our facility offers three different production floors. Floor A is listed at approximately 3,420 sq ft and includes a glass facade for natural-light possibilities, container-built spaces, an auditorium-style area and coffee facilities. Floor B is listed at approximately 4,950 sq ft with an 18 ft overhead lighting grid. Floor C is listed at approximately 7,350 sq ft with a 20 ft grid. A site visit is the best way to confirm working clearances, lighting support, access and the needs of a particular set.

Cinema cameras and specialist image capture

Studio 146's camera range includes ARRI ALEXA Mini and Mini LF systems, ALEXA XT, ARRI ALEXA 35 Xtreme, Phantom Flex 2K for specialist high-speed work, Sony compact cinema cameras and ARRI 435 ES film camera options. Every camera booking is prepared around the requested sensor format, recording media, licences, monitoring, power and lens requirements. Specific operating modes and the current camera package must be confirmed before a shoot.

Cinema lenses for different creative looks

Our lens options include Cooke S4/i, Zeiss Ultra Primes and Standard Speeds, Sigma cinema and full-frame lens options, Kowa anamorphics and custom Whitepoint Optics Lomocron anamorphic lenses. The exact available focal lengths, mounts and compatible camera formats are established when preparing a rental list. Lens testing is recommended when the look depends on vintage rendering or anamorphic coverage.

Lighting, grip and camera movement

Studio 146's equipment and service records include Aputure Electro Storm and STORM fixtures, Creamsource Vortex lighting, Astera tube lights, ARRI HMI and tungsten fixtures, diffusion frames, grip and rigging, DJI Ronin 2, dollies, jibs and camera-crane services. We can assess studio and location requirements together, including power, transport, qualified crew and rigging safety.
